what's new ... january 2007 ...

tuesday january 30, 2007
I've got one more Walkabout wall in me ... don't tell John what he can't do!

monday january 29, 2007
I love the scene in Walkabout where Mr. Locke is on his lunch break. Who would have guessed he was a regional collections manager at a box company Tustin?

saturday january 27, 2007
Big surprise ... here is Locke's second Walkabout wall. This one features John searching for boar ... happy hunting!

friday january 26, 2007
Here's Lost's first Locke-centric episode: Walkabout. I have a feeling I'm going to be making a few more walls from this episode!

thursday january 25, 2007
As you've probably figured out, I've been watching *way* too much Lost lately. Here's a wall for Matthew Fox.

wednesday january 24, 2007
John Locke has two small scenes in Lost's third episode, Tabula Rasa, where he carves a dog whistle to find Vincent ... I guess you could say he has many skills.

monday january 22, 2007
Walt's backgammon scene with John in Lost's pilot episode is fantastic. His "do you want to know a secret" line ... so spooky!

saturday january 20, 2007
John Locke had only one line in Lost's first hour of The Pilot episode. The scene I used for this wall is when he gives Kate an "orange-y" smile ... I guess she didn't think it was funny.

friday january 19, 2007
Today my Xena site, Angie's Cure for X.W.S., is nine years old! Thanks to all of you who have e-mailed me over the years ... it's nice to hear from my fellow Xenites. Here's the official wallpaper
Mr. Locke is still running around in my brain ... so I had to make another wall for him. This one is from episode 1x11, All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues ... not necessarily a Locke-centric episode but it's where he takes Boone under his wing.

wednesday january 17, 2007
I just finished up a Smallville wall from episode 610, "Hydro". Lois believes that Green Arrow is Oliver Queen in disguise. In this scene Clark dresses as Green Arrow to fool Ms. Lane. Naturally, Lois & Clark kiss. Later she tells Clark "the Green Arrow could teach Oliver a thing or two."

tuesday january 16, 2007
Here's Lost's John Locke in the jungle. What can I say? I like the guy.

saturday january 13, 2007
I'm not done with Lost's John Locke ... check out my wall of him at the Hatch! The quote is from 1x24 "Exodus Part 2" and the images are from 2x01 "Man of Science, Man of Faith".
added a Law & Order: Criminal Intent wall from this week's episode: Privilege ... I thought it was a good, solid episode but I think I expected a little more after seeing 'The War at Home' (episode 608). What happened to Goren telling his captain "fire me if you want to"?

thursday january 11, 2007
Last week I checked out Losts Season One from the library and watched it all in three days. This week a friend of mine lent me Season Two ... watched it all in three days. Now ... I'm watching Season Three at ABC.com. The most intriguing character to me is John Locke ... definitely my favorite.

thursday january 4, 2007
Yesterday I checked out a bunch of movies from the library, one of which was Domino . It was very ... interesting. In her wall I included one of her mantras: Heads You Live... Tails You Die.

wednesday january 3, 2007
I was going through my files and realized I hadn't made a Star Trek wall since July ... I wanted to continue my Women of Star Trek series and decided that K'Ehleyr would be a perfect choice. Good luck finding quality images when your character was only in two episodes!

tuesday january 2, 2007
Time for a little Warrior Princess action. I added a quotes montage from If the Shoe Fits ... entitled In Heaven. I entered it into the Artypolis' December contest: 'Wishing Well'. We'll see how I do.

monday january 1, 2007
  Happy New Year!
My first wallpaper of 2007 is another one of Starbuck. I used images of her from the miniseries this time. Thanks to all the creative people over at alt.binaries.pictures.tv.scifi-fantasy for the kind words about my first BSG wall!

thursday december 28, 2006
When the "Battlestar Galactica" miniseries first came out I didn't bother to watch it. I think I was kinda turned off by Number Six in the commercials. Then I watched the first four episodes of season one when they orginally aired. I wasn't all that impressed so I decided to give up on BSG.

So ... last week they had a BSG marathon on the Sci-Fi channel. I ended up watching four season three episodes in a row! I think what hooked me was Starbuck with long hair. I watched as she entered the crew's bathroom and I *knew* that she was going to cut that hair off Mulan style.

I got the BSG miniseries from the library and watched it last night. Maybe I'll give the series another chance ... at any rate ... here's my Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace wall ... and I like how it turned out!
